Jill studied textile design at Winchester School of Art and after graduating in 1988 lectured part-time at Bournemouth's College of Art and design. Alongside her teaching she worked as a free-lance designer selling knitwear designs and samples across the UK and Europe.

She is currently working on a series of paintings inspired by the Dorset coastline. "I'm always looking for interesting projects and other creative people to work with."
